Allée of trees via Lauren Knight

I am so excited to have the day off tomorrow so we can make an early escape to the Hudson Valley to celebrate our anniversary. This was a semi-last minute trip, so when I could not find a hotel available, VRBO came in handy and surprised us with an even better alternative to those booked hotels. We are renting a house near Red Hook, NY and will be exploring the area. I will be posting photos and a trip report next week. This is the first time I am spending the weekend, {I have only passed through for the day here and there} so I would love some recommendations from Hudson valley experts about your favorite things to do and places to see.
