Hello friends,

Lydia at Ever Ours and Lucy & Henny at Utterly Engaged have put together a fundraiser: For Japan with Love in coordination with ShelterBox to provide much needed emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies as a result of last week’s devastating earthquake and tsunami. “ ShelterBox provides emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies for families around the world who are affected by disasters at the time when they need it the most. Each large, green ShelterBox is tailored to a disaster but typically contains a disaster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, water storage and purification equipment, cooking utensils, a stove, a basic tool kit, a children’s activity pack and other vital items.” {from Ever Ours}

In addition to my donation, I will also be participating in Blogger’s Day of Silence on Friday March 18th, when the blog community will observe a day of silence to bring awareness and spread the word about ways we can help. Even if small, every little bit helps. If you would like to make a donation you can do so here or at For Japan with Love . If you are a blogger interested participating, click here for more information.

Amenity’s Organic bedding line has long been on my list of bedding to admire, so I was pleased to hear from Helen at Amenity announcing that they are donating 10% of all sales until June 1st to Red Cross for Japanese Tsunami Aid. They have added so many new products to the site that were fun to browse, and their deep commitment to sourcing sustainable/organic products makes you feel doubly proud about your purchase. For more about Amenity and its founders, click here.

{Items Clockwise Left to Right:}  Wood photo cubes | Fern duvet cotton cover | Sustainable Wood Candles | Hemp/Organic zipper bags | Reclaimed Media Unit | Sustainable Sectional Tray
