Let’s face it, the highlight of the Oscars for most of us is watching glamourous dresses parade down the Red Carpet. Sadly though, I must admit this year there were very few dresses I really loved. So many of the dresses looked “already done” or just not special. Where was the WOW factor? Am I crazy? Do you agree or not? That said, I really enjoyed the lilac color Elie Saab worn by Mila Kunis in particular, and Cate Blanchett’s Givenchy. It filled me with Spring fever, so I had to hunt down some other lilac lovelies.

mila kunis and elie saab look lovely!
i’m so jealous that they can pull off lilac as a color. i was dress shopping the other weekend for a black tie gala event i’m going to next week, and after i decided on what dress i was going to wear, i was trying to decide between the lilac version and the champagne version
i went with champagne, but i wish that i had the coloring to pull off the lilac!

Totally agree. Cate’s Givenchy was the winner of the evening in my book. Something different and avant-garde, very refreshing…
Love the first dress! I want everything you post:)
I agree. Looove the dress worn by Mila. Or maybe it’s lace that gave it my vote? I like dress on Cate but from waist down. It looks lovely. Upper body part of the dress, I’m not too sure about.
So lovely! And these two looks were the best – both dresses, a work of art as well as the pretty ladies who wore them!
I couldn’t agree more!!! These two were my favorites by far as well. The Oscars were totally underwhelming.
