Watching the parade of emerald dresses down the red carpet at Sunday’s Golden Globes has me all green with envy.
Remember Keira Knightley in Atonement? I have always loved emerald, and particularly when it appears in small doses…
…like this shot of emerald on the velvet chaise, and the hint of it on that curtain.
Some pretty accessory pieces that would be just the right dose of this color…
Pablo Tube Lamp | Emerald Green Quartz Teardrop Earrings | Platform Sandals | Green Turquoise Ring | Antique Italian Malachite Box | Cut glass drawer pull | French Green Glass Candlestick
…And I found a glass emerald perfume bottle this weekend up in CT at Papyrus when I popped in to buy a card. It does not seem to be on their website or anywhere else online, but it’s so beautiful in person, and only $14 on sale if you can find one in a store near you.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE all this beautiful luscious GREEN!!! It’s so enticing and nourishing especially with a cold winter ice storm going on outside! Well done, Luster! XO
Thank you xxoo! Yeah I didn’t realize when I posted it, how contrasting it would be to this cold grey rainy NY day. It’s a very invigorating color…you’re right
Wow Jennifer – what a fabulous post. And I’m duly impressed with how quickly you pulled it all together after just having seen the parade of emerald down the red carpet!! I adore your dressing table and that exquisite green perfume bottle from Papyrus is a find indeed – I may have to pop by there myself!!
Thank you! Glad it seems fast because I felt like I would already be behind with today’s fashion coverage of the Globes. Yes, I am so excited about the perfume bottle, had always wanted one, but held out. I found it in the Papyrus at the Stamford Mall. There were a few there on the sale table. It’s really so pretty! They have a red one as well, and a gold/amber-ish one. Different shapes/styles but pretty too.
